ECO 745 International Economics
This course studies alternative economics approaches to understanding economic flows across international borders. The cross-border flows of resources, people, intermediate goods, consumables, services, financial capital, physical capital and “intellectual property” are intertwined and therefore studied as aspects of one subject. Empirical evidence is examined to evaluate alternative theories of international flows and their value to policy makers. Theories arising from non-mainstream and non-western traditions are considered.
