Alpha Phi Sigma: Eta Phi Chapter

National Criminal Justice Honor Society

Alpha Phi Sigma is a nationally recognized honor society for students in the criminal justice sciences. The honor society is open to those seeking graduate degrees in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity, and Protection Management.

To be eligible for membership, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher. Graduate students must have completed a minimum of four courses within their graduate program. Applicants must have completed at least one-third of their total credits required for graduation at John Jay College (not including transfer credits). Epsilon Pi Phi – National Emergency Management Honor Society

Epison Pi Phi is the preeminent honor society for emergency management students in the United States and Canada. Epsilon Pi Phi (EPP) was established by The Foundation for Higher Education Accreditation in 2006 in order for students within emergency management programs would have an avenue for recognition of academic success and contributions to the profession.

This specialized honor society is for emergency management, homeland security, disaster research and science, criminal justice, and continuity management disciplines. EPP is accredited by the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS).

Pi Alpha Alpha - National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration

Pi Alpha Alpha is the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. Under the auspices of the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA), this honor society encourages and rewards scholarship and accomplishment among students and practitioners of public affairs and administration, promotes advancement of education and scholarship in the art and science of public affairs and administration, and fosters integrity and creative performance in the conduct of governmental and related public service operations.
