Student Council

Student Council is the representative and appropriating body of Student Government. Student Council follows the Charter of the Student Government bylaws in fulfilling its responsibilities. Student Council is composed of twenty-nine members, including the president, vice president, secretary and treasurer, along with four representatives from each class, two international representatives, two transfer representatives and the College Council at Large Representative. They meet monthly during the academic year, and their meetings are open to anyone. They represent and support the John Jay student community through governance, events and seminars, which are funded through the student activity fee.
