Academic Acceleration Workshops
Academic Acceleration Workshops are a non-credit bearing academic intervention for students who earned a D or F grade in a major gateway or general education course. The intervention occurs during winter or summer intersession immediately following the semester where the D or F grade was earned. Eligible students are identified by faculty and the criteria is established by the academic department offering the workshop, in partnership with the Office of Academic Programs. Upon successful completion of workshop requirements, students are eligible for a grade change upon the recommendation of the faculty member overseeing the program.
