Camera Use Guidance for Online and Hybrid Courses
In June 2024, CUNY issued a university-wide guidance regarding camera use for hybrid and online learning. Faculty may require students to activate their cameras during class periods or for remote testing. Faculty who intend to utilize this should clearly state this on course syllabi. Additionally, class sections where this parameter is in effect will be noted during registration.
