SEC 791 Security Management Thesis
Course consists of the planning, review, authorship and final editing of a major thesis in the field of Security, Fire and Emergency Management. Traditional expectations of scholarship are required including but not limited to development of a research hypothesis and research design, collection, analysis and integration of diverse scholarly materials into a substantive final research project. Both qualitative and quantitative research designs qualify. Research will be guided by a designated Director and a Committee of at least two readers that provide input into the final research design. Thesis author will be required to orally present and defend the results of said research.
Prerequisite
Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and the permission of the program director.
