Get Advising For Your Major
There are several different ways that you can see a CJBS Advisor. First, you can do self-advisement online by watching the CJBS Advisement Youtube.
Next, you can make an online appointment for CJBS advisement by going to https://cjbs.acuityscheduling.com/.
You can also email the CJBS Major Coordinator if you have specific questions: Professor Chris Herrmann (cherrmann@jjay.cuny.edu) is the major advisor for the 2015-2016 academic year. Last, you can stop by the Department of Law & Police Science (Haaren Hall, room 422) during CJBS Advisement drop-in hours.
For Spring 2016, the hours are:
Dr. Chris Herrmann- Mon & Wed, 12:30pm - 3:00pm
Dr. Peter Moskos- Tues 8:15pm-9:30pm and Thurs 4:15pm to 5:30pm
Please note: If you have very basic questions about the CJBS major requirements and your progress in the major, you can download the CJBS Major Requirements Worksheet, fill it out to the best of your ability, and bring it to the Academic Advisement Center when you meet with a general academic advisor to discuss your general education requirements and overall progress towards degree.
