Graduation

Students are encouraged to use DegreeWorks, an online degree audit tool, to track their academic progress toward degree completion.

Requirements

Candidates for graduation must complete all degree requirements by the end of the semester in which they intend to graduate. Graduate degree candidates must successfully complete all required coursework, fulfill all program requirements, and achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.

Candidates for graduation are reminded that grades of INC assigned during the final semester of attendance in courses required for graduation may result in the postponement of graduation until all degree requirements have been satisfied.

Students must submit an Application for Degree by the deadline published in the Academic Calendar.

When a degree is posted to a student's record, that record is sealed. Requests for further updates or changes, including grade changes that would affect degree conferral, may be denied. Students expecting grade changes or other updates to their academic record should notify the Office of the Registrar before the degree is awarded.

Application

An Application for Graduate Degree must be filed online via CUNYfirst (home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu) according to the date listed in the Academic Calendar.
