SPA 332 Latin-American Literature II

This course studies the development of Latin American literature beginning with the 19th century with emphasis on the historical, political, economic, and social contexts in which literary works were produced. Major literary movements are presented through selected readings of representative authors and genres. Issues of gender, race, ethnicity, and class, among others will be explored. The course is taught in Spanish.
